"A few months have passed since the most significant and glorious day in the history of Prima Pramac Racing - the conquest of the MotoGP Riders World Championship with Jorge Martin. Now, here we are in Malaysia, ready to face a new and exciting challenge.

"The 2024 season was thrilling, allowing us to write an important chapter in the history of motorcycling. However, it was also a complicated and challenging year - one that marked the end of a 20-year partnership following a long and remarkable journey.

"In every person’s or company’s life, there comes a time to take a new path in search of fresh challenges and inspiration. For us, that moment begins now, with the birth of the Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP team. This marks the beginning of our journey as a second Factory Team for a manufacturer that has made the history of our sport, as we prepare to face the upcoming seasons of the MotoGP World Championship.

"Being selected as a partner by Yamaha is confirmation of the hard work our team has put in over the past few seasons. We’ve grown from a junior team into one capable of competing for and winning world titles. Four consecutive years as the best independent team, and most notably, the 2023 MotoGP Team World Championship and the 2024 MotoGP Riders World Championship, are testament to our abilities and professionalism. These successes now position us for an even higher status as we enter the 2025 season.

"First, I would like to thank everyone who is part of this team, starting with Gino Borsoi and the other team leaders, all the way down to the mechanics who have chosen to take on this new challenge. This wasn’t a foregone conclusion. To see the entire team, aside from a few natural changes, immediately place their trust in this new project has not only strengthened our sense of belonging but has also become a source of pride and a commitment to strive for even greater achievements.

"I would also like to express our gratitude to Prima Assicurazioni, our title sponsor, who has supported us through our vertical growth over the past few years. Their contribution has been key to Prima Pramac Racing’s success, and together we have created a winning partnership that will continue in the coming seasons.

"Yamaha is demonstrating a strong commitment to returning to the top of motorcycling, as evidenced by the improved performance in the final races of the last World Championship. The opportunity to double our efforts on the track will help us close the gap more quickly. The deep and open collaboration at every level, along with the shared vision we’ve started to develop in these early weeks, fills me with optimism for the future.

"Finally, I would like to welcome back Jack Miller. In the three years he spent with us, Jack has not only grown and matured but also helped foster a stronger team spirit. I am confident that the experience he has gained will be invaluable in the development of the M1.

"And I would also like to extend a warm welcome to Miguel Oliveira, an intelligent, talented and fast rider who has been held back in recent seasons by injuries that have prevented him from showing his full potential. I look forward to seeing him in action in our colours.
